Earlier today, a charming piece of RNC propaganda arrived at The Snarkster's abode, so she thought it might be fun to do a little mischief on it and play around with the reverse message to create a political cleave poem--in Obama's favor, of course.
The Troll (see right side panel) takes on a minor role, albeit an important one, in this gripping saga of gratuitous violence as the dynamic Republican duo makes our country safe for Democracy.
Viewer discretion advised. May challenge one's deeply held Republican tenets. *
The Snarkster has WAY too much time on her hands, having gone over to JibJab.com to create this special performance by none other than the dynamic duo Republican candidates.
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll catch a fox and put him in a box Ne'er to let him go
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll catch a fish and serve him on a dish Ne'er to let him go
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll snare a bear and raid her lair Ne'er to let them go
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll shoot a pig and pretend he's big Ne'er to let him go
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll nab a giraffe and make him gag Ne'er to let him go
A hunting Todd will go, for Sarah he will go Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a hunting he will go A hunting he will go, a hunting he will go He'll gore a boar and make him roar Ne'er to let him go
Chorus:
A flying Todd will go, for Sarah he will fly Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a flying he will go A flying he will go, for Sarah he will fly He will slaughter a wolf, make Sarah a coat Ne'er to let her go
A running Sarah will do, for Johnny she will run Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a running she will do A running she will do, for Johnny she will run She will a gut a moose, play fast and loose Never ever to tell the truth
A mighty fine Veep, we will never have seen Heigh ho, the dairy-o, a mighty fine Veep A mighty fine Veep, we will never have seen She will aim her gun, perhaps have some fun With a little luck, blast Dick Cheney's bum
(Tweaked by The Snarkster and based on the traditional anonymous folksong/poem A Hunting We Will Go.)
How would YOU like to be hunted down from an airplane, with no where to go?
Whether you hunt or not, you should be aware that this is NOT a sport; a true sport involves a situation where the hunted has a possibility of escaping. This is not the case when the hunter has all the advantage, and the hunted has none. This is a blood bath.
Does picking off animals from an airplane REALLY show the world how big your balls (or boobs) are?
The following video clip is disturbing and difficult to watch; viewer discretion is advised:

Aerial Wolf Gunning 101
WHAT IS IT, AND WHY DOES VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE SARAH PALIN SUPPORT THE PRACTICE?
By Samantha Henig
Posted on Slate (Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at 6:38 PM ET)
Sarah Palin, the governor of Alaska and John McCain's vice presidential pick, is an enthusiastic hunter who has proposed legislation and cash incentives to encourage aerial wolf gunning, the controversial practice of shooting wolves from an aircraft. Do people in Alaska really shoot wolves from planes?
Yes, but only with the government's permission. Aerial shooting yields better results than traditional hunting, since it allows the hunter to cover a lot of ground quickly and track target animals from a clear vantage point. Historically, hunters also used planes to drive animals—polar bears in Alaska and elk in Montana, among others—toward gunmen waiting on the ground. But many hunters found the practice unsportsmanlike, since it violates the "fair chase" ethic, and animal rights activists call it inhumane, since airborne gunmen rarely get a clean (i.e., relatively painless) kill. In response to concerns like these, Congress passed the Federal Airborne Hunting Act of 1972, which made it illegal for hunters to shoot animals from a plane or helicopter.
Once again, A HUGE thanks to Diana Manister for bringing this issue and the Slate article to The Snarkster's attention. ______________________________________________________ *
The Bridge to Nowhere (Video uploaded to YouTube in August 2006)
AFPFoundation says,
After visiting 27 states and dozens of pork-barrel earmarks from Vermont to San Diego and Florida to Wyoming, the Ending Earmarks Express has now visted the granddaddy of all pork-barrel earmarks... the infamous Bridge to Nowhere in Ketchikan, Alaska. As you'll see in the accompanying video we shot on the ferry between Ketchikan and tiny Gravina Island in a remote section of southeastern Alaska, there's really no need to spend $223 million federal taxpayer dollars on a bridge longer than the Golden Gate and taller than the Brooklyn Bridge.
"Sarah Palin: A Trojan Moose Concealing Four More Years of George Bush"
By Arianna Huffington (Huffngton Post)
"Did Sarah Palin wrongfully push to have her ex-brother-in law fired? Was she really against the "Bridge to Nowhere?" Did she really sell Alaska's plane on eBay, or just list it on eBay? Did she actually have any substantial duties commanding the Alaska National Guard?
The correct answer to all these questions is: who cares? Which isn't to say these aren't valid questions, or that Palin and the McCain camp aren't playing it fast, loose, and coy with each of them. The point is that Palin, and the circus she's brought to town, are simply a bountiful collection of small lies deliberately designed to distract the country from one big truth: the havoc that George Bush and the Republican Party have wrought, and that John McCain is committed to continuing.
Sarah and Todd Palin at play. _________________________________________________________
There was a little girl, And she had a little gun, And her bullets were made of lead, lead, lead; She went to the brook, and saw a little duck, And she shot it right through the head, head, head.
She carried it home to her redneck Todd, And bade him a fire to make, make, make. To roast the little duck She had shot in the brook, And she'd go and fetch the drake, drake, drake.
The drake was a-swimming With his curly tail; The little girl made it her mark, mark, mark. But gave Todd her gun. Ach! He fired too soon, And the drake flew away with a quack, quack, quack.
The G.O.P. came a-calling with its surly N.R.A. The little girl flirted with her eyes, eyes, eyes. Old John wanted her youth. Ach! She fired dead on, And she shot him with more lies, lies, lies.
In 1996 Bristol Palin daughter of Sarah Palin (presumptive vice-presidential Republican nominee) was attending Iditarod Elementary School in Alaska. The teacher asked the students to ask their parents if they had any unwanted video cameras they could donate (for skits). Bristol Palin brought in a camera. The spurious VHS tape found inside that camera featured her husband Todd Palin talking aloud to five-year old Bristol (she's holding the camera) about wife Sarah Palin regarding her 1996 Wasilla election win. (Her first term as mayor) DON'T MISS THIS! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT THIS MAN SAYS!
She was elected Alaska's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.
Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.
She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000.
Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.
She doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.
She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.
How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.

This is a joke, a huge "gotcha," right?
The Snarkster hopes so.
Also be aware that someone close to Sarah Palin may have been tampering with her Wikipedia article.
